Day 27 -San Gimignano

We drove here today which was almost a two hour drive but worth it for the lunch alone. Wonderful venue, wonderful people, wonderful food, and the best wine I've had in Europe. This is Tuscany's most famous village and it is a picture of medieval perfection. Its famous towers rising above orange tiled houses and atmospheric streets. But there are immense tourist crowds so we opted for a really nice lunch.
