A walk in the vineyard

Every where you go in Italy (and France for that matter) you see lovely vineyards and at this time of year the vines are loaded down with grapes about to be picked any day. Dozens of times I've wanted to stop the car and go out and shoot some pictures but we always seem to be in a hurry to get to our next destination. Well I found some time yesterday and this morning to wonder down to the vineyard across the valley from our Villa ( the vineyard is in the first few pictures ) and tried to get some pictures of the grapes etc. It was harder than I thought since the ground is really rocky and the grapes hang very low to the ground. You decide if I captured the essence of a vineyard.

The cottage across the olive grove is our Villa where we are staying and we are going to dinner tonight with the owner. It should be fun.
