Normally my favourite museum .. D'orsay is the home of the impressionists. But it undergoing extensive renovations and they have the top three floors closed with only the ground and first floor open with a very limited display of pictures and not very well laid out from a viewing perspective. Yuch! If in Paris and you only have an hour or so to see a museum then do your self a favour and don't bother. This was certainly the case with D'orsay and would definitely be the case with the Louvre.
We also had the little one's with us and they were bored stiff so we only spent a little more than an hour. Now I spent eight hours here one trip so this visit was pretty much a write off. They also didn't allow any pictures which is a change of policy since I have many from previous visits so this blog is very short on photography. Sorry.
