Vida Arrives Safely

And then there were eight. Vida arrived this morning from Lithuania, safely and on time. Whenever anyone arrived at my apartment during this trip ( and there were a total of 14 guests in all ) I fixed a Parisian table for them with  lots of goodies ... baguette, croissants, cheese, fois gras, wine, pastries, prosciutto, melons or other fresh fruit etc. And of course flowers ... I've stopped at my flower place most mornings and picked up a bouquet of flowers and this morning was no different. I think I now have about 10 plants or vases of flowers in the apartment. I also made sure that there were fresh flowers in everyone's bedroom on arrival just as a way to make them feel special. Not sure all this work was fully appreciated by some but most "got it" and appreciated it and I enjoyed doing it and that is all that counts.

This is what Paris is all about ... being Parisian. Everyone has a different definition of 'being Parisian' but mine centres around the food, the open markets, walking, etc.
